This is an update of my weekend recommendations regarding HV Taco Fest 8 (Saturday 6/14 at People's Park in Newburgh).

After my initial recommendation, I received feedback from readers about past experiences with this event. Concerns have been raised. While I always aim to highlight the best the Hudson Valley has to offer, I believe in being transparent when events may not meet expectations. I am no longer recommending the Taco Fest.

If you're looking for great tacos this weekend, I’d recommend checking out some of the amazing local Mexican restaurants around the Hudson Valley instead. They offer great tacos without the admission price of a festival.
